
Foster Care
Foster care is a family based Out of Home Care program funded by the SA Government and generally for children and young people under 18 years of age being cared for under a Guardianship or other Court order.
A number of CAFFSA members provide foster care services, both in the metropolitan and country areas of South Australia. There are a number of different programs and various models are being used, from generic and respite care to therapeutic care. Further details can be provided through the following:
